Shady Baby is a brand dedicated to providing high-quality sun protection products for babies and toddlers. Our range includes patented UV protection tents, lightweight microfiber towels, and other innovative travel-friendly items designed to keep your little ones safe in the sun. We focus on using advanced materials and clever designs to ensure maximum protection and convenience for families on holiday and in the sun.

Our Shady Baby Tent is designed to be both strong and lightweight, making it perfect for travel. It is suitable for children from 0+ years with no upper age restriction, though some features may be limited for older children.
Coverage:
Up to 12 years: The tent can accommodate most children up to 12 years old, providing coverage for the head, neck, shoulders, chest, back, and stomach. However, it may not cover the entire body of taller children.
Leg Exposure: For exposed legs, we recommend applying SPF50 sunscreen and using suitable coverings.
Stability:
The tent is designed to prevent roll-offs, but effectiveness may vary based on the child's size and the weight of the sun lounger.

The Shady Baby Tent is easy to set up. Simply unfold it from its carry bag, attach the adjustable pull cord clip straps to a single sun lounger underneath. The elasticated clip straps are designed to hold the shape of the tent while you attach to the sun lounger. This strap should be removed once securely fitted to a lounger.
Please make sure your band is clean using warm water. Make sure there is no sun cream on the band or beads. If you wear your band everyday the life span is approx 1 month, this can be increased by storing your band in a cool dark place when not being used.
Our beads have a long life span of minimum 6 months (or more) if exposed to UV light every day. Our beads can last up to 5 years if used occasionally and stored in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use.

Your Right to Cancel (Online Purchases)
In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return the item(s) to us for a refund. To do so:
You must notify us within 14 calendar days from the day after your order is delivered.
Notification must be made by email to info@shadybaby.co.uk before returning your item.
You then have a further 14 days from the date of notifying us to return the goods.
Returns Conditions
Items must be returned in unused condition, with original undamaged packaging (or equivalent).
Returns are at your own expense, and we recommend using a tracked and insured service.
You are responsible for the goods until they reach us. Please retain proof of postage and use a tracked service to ensure safe delivery.
Please package your return securely and include your order number or proof of purchase inside.
We can only accept returns from purchases bought directly from Shady Baby Ltd. If your purchase was made through a third party, please contact them directly.
Returns After 14 Days (Discretionary)
We understand that sometimes circumstances change. If more than 14 days have passed since delivery and you wish to return an item, we may, at our sole discretion, accept the return under the following conditions:
Prior authorisation is required You must contact us by email at info@shadybaby.co.uk and receive written approval before sending anything back.
Item condition requirements
The item must be unused, in resaleable condition, and in its original packaging.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept used or visibly worn products for return under this policy.
Fees and deductions
A £5.00 processing/restocking fee per item (Tents) and £1.50 on all other items (per item) will be deducted from any refund to cover handling and inspection costs.
The original shipping charge or standard delivery cost will also be deducted if the return is accepted outside the 14-day window. E.g. If you item had "Free Shipping", and your return is accepted outside of the 14 day return, then the standard shipping rate will be deducted from your total.
Returns that do not meet the above conditions Items returned without prior approval, or that fail to meet the above criteria, may be refused and returned to the sender at their own expense.
This goodwill policy does not replace or affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at info@shadybaby.co.uk within 7 calendar days of receiving your order. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate and cover the return postage if required.
We recommend checking your item as soon as it arrives. Any damage during transit must be reported within 7 days of receipt so we can resolve the issue promptly.
Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue to help us assist you quickly.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected the returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days.
Refunds are made to the original payment method.
You will receive a full refund for the product and the standard delivery charge (if paid and within the 14-day return period).
If you selected a premium or express delivery option (e.g., Special Delivery), we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery service.
We do not refund the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refund Deductions
If the returned item shows signs of use, is not returned in a resaleable condition, or the original packaging is damaged or missing, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value. This includes but is not limited to:
Missing or damaged packaging
Marks, stains, or visible signs of wear
Missing components or accessories
This ensures returned items can still be resold or handled appropriately.
Where to Send Returns
Once your return is approved, we will provide the appropriate return address by email. Please do not send items back without prior approval, as they may not be accepted or refunded.
International Orders
If you are ordering from outside the UK, please contact us at info@shadybaby.co.uk before returning an item. Return policies and delivery timescales may vary depending on your location.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If your item was not delivered by Royal Mail, it will automatically be returned to us. You have two options:
Redelivery:
You can request a reshipment, but you will need to cover the following charges prior to resending:

Refund:
If you prefer a refund, it will be processed once the undelivered item is returned to us. The following charges will be deducted from the refund amount:
